Our customer commitment continues. Again we have received the Super Service Award from Angie’s List. That makes consecutive SS Awards since 2006. It makes me happy to be able to thrive while conducting business the right way – making satisfied customers.
I have often admired companies who “do things the right way” and give back to the community that they serve. Some great local examples include Lilly, Cummins, Kroger and Indiana Outdoor Lighting. You read it correctly. This year Indiana Outdoor Lighting will donate 5% to local kids! (5% of profits) via Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Central Indiana.
Exactly one year ago I got matched with my “little brother” whose name is Adreyce and is ten years old. I speak for both myself and Adreyce when I say that the experience has been positive. The support that we receive from BBBSCI is superb. They help us to identify areas for improvement (thriving indicators) for the kids and activities that will support those thriving indicators.
The only unfortunate thing is that there are now 600 kids waiting for matches in central Indiana. Volunteer, donate, tell your friends, it will make a difference.
